I hate the idea of picking these teams so early, some good players are going to miss out, and some that are ranked a little higher now on hype maybe shouldn't be in the game...

I 100% agree, look at the recruiting service's rankings now and look at them in 10 months, so much is going to change. I like the increased popularity of the UA game though, as it seems like it uses a much more neutral selection process than the AA game. |

As much as many hate ESPN I think this will replace the Army All American Game as "the" game very very soon.

What's the story with the All Star games? Will this be like the shoe camps for basketball where a team/players interests ties them to a certain game?

Unfortunately it's just all about trying to get the best players at the time committed to their games as quickly as possible, so the selection process isn't going to be so picky anymore.
