Nothing surprises me anymore about offers flying out. There's no doubt in my mind that JT is thinking of closing out this class early and focus solely on the season at hand. I am sure there are some other prospects out there whom we haven't thought of seriously that the Buckeyes are pursuing.....e.g, I came across Rodney Smith, a WR out of FL (4-star according to Scout) whom we haven't offered yet, but the kid has us at the top of his list as per an interview a couple days ago! I believe he's been talking to Brandon McGee a lot!
The pressure is on the recruits.....verbal or get left behind!

Agreed. I think the strategy is to focus on one to three top prospects by early December. Then spend the remaining time on next years class. This occurred last year and i believe is the Bucks new strategy. |
