According to most fanbases, players shouldn't want to play with Pryor. He's a weak passer and he'll take away carries from the runningbacks. Just ask the receivers and backs who played with Troy Smith...

Show off!
Seriously, great update. It looks like the staff is determined to get TP all the tools he'll need to succeed.
I hope JT really does work this one personally [without taking anything away from Darrell Hazell, who is obviously a terrific recruiter]. But just consider the other coaches who have offered Jheranie: Urban Myer, Butch Davis, Bobby Bowden, Tommy Bowden, Lou Saban, Steve Spurrier, Tommy Tuberville ...even DickRod. That's heady stuff for a 17 year old from Gastonia, NC. But JT can best any of them if the young man has his head screwed on straight ...and it sounds like he does.
With Fields and Jackson already on board, and staff saying they want three, adding Jheranie Boyd would be quite a trifecta. TP sure wouldn't lack for targets.

Boyd Planning USC Visit
By Phil Kornblut
WR Jheranie Boyd (6-3 185) of Gastonia, NC will make an unofficial visit to USC May 24th. He'll be joined on the visit by his mentor Joseph Johnson. "I plan to be there the whole day so we can see the campus," Boyd said. USC recruiter Ray Rychleski was by the school Monday. Clemson was in a couple of weeks ago. Southern Cal, Oregon, Auburn and Maryland visited Thursday, and Missouri will be in Friday. Boyd visited North Carolina last week and met with head coach Butch Davis. Boyd said he recently gained offers from Michigan, Ohio State and Florida State. Boyd privately has a final ten in his mind. He's not ready to announce that list but he did confirm Clemson and USC are in the group. Boyd said he will attend day camps this summer at USC, Clemson and North Carolina. He also will attend the Florida State Showcase camp and a camp at Southern Cal. He said there is no leader at this time.
