I really liked his film...that was against some good competition and he showed some real talent. Lots of potential imo.

Canton McKinley's Jewone Snow, Iggy's Scott McVey, and Moeller's Nick Galvin are going to have a lot to say about that.

I forgot about Snow...I keep looking for info on him, but just never come up with much...He started as frosh at McKinley right?

Haven't heard of the other two...

Yes. He also missed much of his sophomore year due to injury.

They are both in the mold of Tyler Moeller. Both are about an inch shorter than Hicks and roughly the same weight.

Snow and Rosenbauer may end up being tweeners, but the other three will definitely be LBs.

Hicks is definitely a great prospect, and would fit in quite well in OSU's system.

I will disagree on Rosenbauer...He has showed with his 4.59 40 as a sophomore that he has the speed to to stay at MLB...There is the chance that he can put his hand down, but I don't see him as a tweener, you might say athlete that could play LB or DE...

It does kinda look like the staff has take a liken to some smaller LB like Moeller...

For now I will stick with the Hicks/Rosenbauer as the 1-2 combo, and I like the little I have heard about Snow...Will wait to see the other two and anyone else that might be out there...

Don't get me wrong, Rosenbauer has the athletic ability to play LB, but it seems more often than not that when a LB weighs 230+ as a sophomore in HS, chances are he's going to outgrow the position once he reaches college. However, as with Snow, I'm not sure either will have the height/reach that recruiters look for in their DE prospects. That's not to say they couldn't play there, just that their height would work against them if coaches look at them as tweeners. We'll see, though.

Hicks, barring a growth spurt, won't have that problem.

The thing with Zac is he is already a solid 6'2'...You might look for a 6'4'' or what not, but he is only a sophomore and his Dad is tall, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him grow another inch or two by the time he gets to college...But I don't think if Zac gets to 250 he is going to lose much athletic ability...He would have college ready size by his frosh season...

I agree Hicks has the body to be an outside guy at the next level, and is set for the LB position...

Hicks might be the best prospect to come out of West in quite a while, from what I'm told. Also plays basketball, and is getting some D-1 looks there as well. I don't know who his favorites are, but he's visited a few times already, and we all know where Lakota West players end up when they get that Ohio State offer...

By Dave Biddle...Jordan talks about his experience at the OSU advanced camp. States he is done attending camps and will probably wait until next year in giving his verbal commitment.

My take on Jordan from tonight: Possibly the best prospect on the field tonight. Jordan has sick closing speed, wraps up well, and sheds his blocks. Great frame to add good weight and he already has good size. I would be shocked if OSU didn't offer. His sophmore film was good, but Jordan has improved almost night and day if you can believe it. He exclusively plays LB now and I definetly feel that is where his future is. He's a top 5 player in the state for '10 imo. Couldn't have been much more impressed with Jordan tonight.
