I like him a lot better than Hicks but I don't know how I'd compare him to Turner.

Hopefully Ohio State gets another Iggy boy. Those have worked out pretty well in the past at tOSU... LeCharles Bentley and Anthony Gonzalez come to mind, as well as other good core players throughout the years.

The only game I've seen him play was the staqte title game - and he was absolutely dominant. Unblockable. Super-high motor. As Grad said - explosive.
Not as big as Nate Williams yet, but reminds me of him - very strong for his size and very quick.
I am happy to see we offered him and super-hyped to learn he is a strong OSU lean/fan.

The operable question about St. Ignatius linebacker Scott McVey this season was "How can this guy play any better?"
McVey answered with a peerless performance in the biggest of games, the Wildcats' Division I state championship against Cincinnati Elder.
The 6-1, 215-pound junior exceeded even his own lofty standards, sacking Elder quarterback Mark Miller four times, helping on two other sacks and intercepting a pass in St. Ignatius' 28-20 win.
McVey is The Plain Dealer's Defensive Player of the Year.
Besides speed, strength and sure tackling, modesty and selflessness are McVey traits, as shown when he was asked about the season.
"I think it will sink in when I fully realize that I won't get to practice again with our seniors," McVey said.
"They've meant a lot to me. I'm really going to miss them."
McVey, who was recently offered a scholarship to play for Ohio State, was stationed between middle linebacker Kolin Sullivan and left safety Dan Fox in the Wildcats' 3-5 defense.
