From Eleven Warriers

The Ones That Got Away (players from Ohio that turned down OSU)

Steve Gardiner? I guess he did turn down a greyshirt opportunity
DJ Woods? Had offer at one but didn't act quick enough...later wanted it back

why did you single those two out? of all the players mentioned in the article, those are probably the two that hurt the least. at the time i was far more upset about losing players like Rudolph, Koger & McCarthy.

I think he was saying that those two should probably not be on that list. For the reasons he listed, they might have came to OSU if they had true offers.
