Grew up a Michigan and Bowling Green (where his dad went) fan. Should be the top player in the state next year. Urban will need to put in some work to keep him here. |

Tony Gerdeman tweeted this link yesterday from the Ozone's forum.
Talked to John McCallister about a few guys last night. One was 2014 Toledo QB Deshone Kizer.
[ Follow Ups ] [ O-Zone Forum ] By Gerd on 10:40:34 02/29/12 He's 6-4 205 as a sophomore. Isn't being recruited heavily by Michigan yet, but likely will be. 247Sports currently has him as the top QB in the 2014 class. He considers himself a pocket passer who can escape trouble. Not unlike Cardale Jones in that regard. Here's McCallister's take... ?Oh, I think he's by far the best (in-state QB) in his class. He's got a lot of potential. He's still going to grow a little bit, and he'll keep maturing. He'll be fine. The kid is a really, really good athlete. Smart. Good kid. Good mom. He's a football player.? ?He probably will be one that Ohio State will go after. But Brady's really strong in Toledo, he's got quite an influence up there. He's that kind of quarterback. Plus he makes good decisions.? |
