I think Valve is the only company that has never made a bad game. If they have, I haven't heard of it. |

I am on a Fallout 3 fix, since I have heard that Fable 2 isn't worth buying from a lot of people.

Fable is probably the fourth-best RPG on the 360, behind only Fallout, Oblivion, and Mass Effect (not necessarily in order). But those three games are three of the best I've ever played, so.. I didn't see Ratatouille, but every other PIXAR movie I've seen is golden. Can't wait for WALL-E on DVD Tuesday. ![]() |

Sad thing is, had the developers allowed you to do half of the things they promised before the release of the original, it would have been one of the better games of all time IMHO. |

It's still a very good game. Just not if you want co-op.

Sonic Unleashed... I enjoyed the regular sonic stages, they did a good job capturing some of the classic sidescrolling gameplay into a 3D, hyper-speed rush of action. The night-time mode was weak and tiresome, where you transform into this Sonic wolf-beast and have to fight your way through slowly. Gave up on it.
Tried the Mirror's Edge demo, I really like the concept they tried to pull off. They thought outside the box, but it was a bit rough around the edges. Not sure I'll be renting it unless everything else is checked out. Hoping to get Prince of Persia & NFS Underground from gamefly. |

I thought the demo for Mirror's Edge was very cool, and it was enough to make me want to get the game when it drops to $29.99 or thereabouts. I didn't come away impressed enough to consider it for $59.99 though. What the demo really reminded me of was Don Bluth's Dragons Lair. Even though Mirror's Edge looks like a sandbox game with a hundreds paths, it isn't. Most of it is one path with a lot of button combos and blind leaps of faith required to pull it off. Like Dragon's Lair, the only way to figure it out is to try it and die 47 different ways before you hit the right path, either through process of elimination or dumb luck. |

Yup, it is a bit linear, but a great starting point. I hope they have the funding, or someone else "borrows" the concept and works it into a more complete title.
Tried out Castle Crashers, the demo. It was mindless fun, but not worth 1200 points in my eyes. Anyone here swear by the game and wish to convince me otherwise? |
