An update... buckeyemania11 didn't get his replacement modem and he has no idea when he will be back online. He actually suggested that we just drop him from the league.
What shall we do guys? The one reason I won't make a "commish ruling" is because I am scheduled to play his team this week.
We have a few options:
1) I can put him on autopilot (I play vs CPU) and when he comes back he comes back
2) Drop him from the league and look for a replacement.
3) Put him on autopilot, but announce we need a replacement player. Then it is a race, if buckeyemania11 gets his modem before we find a replacement player nothing changes, or if we find a replacement player then we drop bm11 and the replacement player picks up whatever week we are in.
4) Something I didn't think of

#1 until we get closer to the bowl season. Then make it a race to see who, if anyone, can get in before the start of season two.
You'll most likely end up playing a second human player against ECU for the Conf USA championship anyway, so no big deal about losing a human opponent.

Never fails... within 30 minutes of posting that buckeyemania11 gave me some good news... for [censored]s and giggles he plugged in his 'broken' modem and it worked???
So we are going to try to play our game tonight, and then I will let him set up his recruiting as I am sure he will have to fix what the computer did.
My goal if everything goes right is to advance the week tomorrow morning before I go to work (6am)
And if his modem doesn't work... we will go with Option #1 (unless anyone objects). And I will play the game tonight and advance tonight. I just didn't want to make the call myself since he was set to play me.
Keep in mind that Week 4 will also be a little slow since WOOD won't be back til Sunday to play msj. So hopefully we will pick up the pace next week as we get back into playing more cpu games.
