Odd that we dropped from 12 to 11. When I get home from work (6pm) I will check to see how many teams are signed up. If we are at an odd number I will drop from the league. I am sure my wife would appreciate it

Of course, I just got a phone call which contained some BS that means I probably won't make the draft tonight...and I definitely won't make the beginning of it. I've pre-ranked my first 40 players or so, and will try to do the rest...otherwise, my draft will suck ass. Sorry fellas. Good luck to all.

Somebody had posted 8:15PM for the start of the regular Deuce draft last week, and that's about when I showed up to find that the draft was already underway. I guess I shouldn't be allowed to bitch though since my autopick was LT.

Good draft everyone. I stumbled in for the 7th round, just in time to avoid the 9th round auto-pick run on kickers

As I said in the draft, Westy at 5 & Barber at 9 is highway robbery. Thanks sparky

SuperFan has some big upside, but relying on potential to be great across the board.
Sparky is going to struggle with Edwards & Campbell running the show.
Saccamano's team is positively filthy. AP, Braylon, Romo, CJ, Gates, White, White, McNabb, Rudi. Unreal.
Carlisle has some good players but too many reaches in terms of value/slot.
Silver Bullets is quite strong in starters, but so-so depth. Good thing you snagged a backup kicker
Ninja grabbed 3 1st round backs from last year's rankings, need Anderson to not have a sophomore slump to be elite.
Appalachia has a lot of top notch players who don't get enough run for their performances.
Crystal went WR-WR, but will the top-2 RBs remain starters on their ballclubs?
My club has a ton of veteran potential #1s, but also a large potential for thoes guys to suffer from split carries/plays.

I was the 12th team that joined up (Under Overachievers). If I knew someone was gonna drop out to make odd numbers again, I wouldn't have joined. Sorry you had to drop to make even numbers there Piney. I feel I screwed up there.

That said though, 'twas a good draft tonight. I also find it funny that Padraig did NOT get Wes Welker, despite having the #1 pick =)

Not your fault, Twenty. Somebody else screwed up, though I'm not sure who yet. You should have been twelve including Piney, but even with you there was only eleven...so somebody who said they were in never actually signed up.

As for the draft, I'm reasonably happy. Agree with Jwins that my depth is lacking, but I don't think I could reasonably have hoped for better since I missed the draft.

Figured it out...it was eobuck. He had signed up at one point (Homer's Legion of Doom), but must have dropped out without telling anyone. Thanks for that.

Great season everyone! For the most part, my picks panned out pretty well, I was happy with how my team performed. Are we going to set up the keepers (and how many to keep) now while it is still fresh in everyone's mind? Or are we waiting for awhile to make sure there are no major injuries to a good player that has been kept and thus pimping an owner? This is my first keeper football league, I am anxious to see how it plays out...
