Crisis averted. Everyone needs to hop on and re-do their recruiting/redshirts, I was able to restore the dynasty, but not the input.

Hoover, Miami, SCLSU, TC Williams are done. ESU, Springfield & Zissou should be, please double check. Everyone else will need to re-do their preseason stuff. We should be able to advance Mon evening.

I thought was in South Carolina, replacing Clemson? Unless you've changed things, I was using Clemson's roster.

When I create the teams, I can replace Maryland with a teambuilder team. They are just switching roles, Springfield inherits Maryland's spot in the ACC as well as their rivals. It doesn't have anything to do with rosters. Your team would have looked the same if I had replaced OSU, Pittsburgh, California or Hawaii with Springfield. The only difference would be what conference you play in, and what rivals you inherited from them. Your roster would be identical in all 4 swap scenarios.


I happened to use Clemson's roster (with some small tweaks) to make the framework for your Springfield team. I could have just made up players and ratings for every single spot, not using Clemson at all.

Hmm... I thought I tweaked Clemson's roster in advance so they wouldn't have as much ridiculous speed, but I think it got replaced again by the clemson template.

I understand the swapping/replacement process. But it seems silly to have 2 teams in the same conference with virtually identical rosters, and I thought I was going to be located in South Carolina.

I simply chose to get rid of Maryland because they aren't as interesting of a program long term... and clemson has a better chance to remain respectable, recruiting-wise.

I tweaked your Clemson based roster so it wouldn't be identical to Clemson's, but I think it got overwritten after I made those changes. Looking back, I didn't make that clear, sorry bout that.

I don't know what it is online. It's probably SC, but that still brings up a few issues. If I replace Clemson, then that's a different recruiting dynamic. As it is, now my in-state recruiting will be more challenging due to having an additional in-state school. We'll probably be going after many of the same type recruits since we have the same rosters/needs.

For the above reasons, it doesn't make good sense to me to retain Clemson and add Springfield to South Carolina. I'd rather replace Clemson or have a list of schools that I can choose to swap out with Springfield.

Well, recruiting is going to be brutal either way because over half of our schools have pipeline states in the SEC region. Tex, FL, GA, SC are all heavily contested, whether it's the SEC, ACC or B12 teams.

The only way to change things now would be to back out of the dynasty and start all over again.

Okay, well if you don't need to re-tweak my roster, then I'm fine with the way it is. If my roster needs to be overhauled, then it makes more sense to swap it differently.

Sounds good. The two outrageous speed demons on offense are seniors, so that helps. I don't think your defense is too crazy, just deep. I think we'll be ok in the long run.

You think you have it bad? come take my problems with recruiting. I'm located in Texas. Not only are there 3 other major schools, practically everyone in the country has a pipeline state their. I'd rather do it the way that we are, than get rid of all the good teams and keep the ones that we are currently taking the place of.
