St. Edwards vs. Campbell (CA)
Good high school B-ball game going on ESPN 2. Good to showcase some Ohio talent even if he is going to Michigan St.
Jrue Holliday, a top player in the couintry plays for Campbell

Jrue Holliday has 14 points in the first quarter for Campbell. Dude doesn't miss. He'll be attending UCLA next year. 6'4 guard that has a ridiculous shot but explosive in the open court as well.
Delvon Roe is having a nice game. St Ed's definately runs a team offense moreso than Campbell. Campbell offebse is Holliday. St. Ed's runs a system. I think by the end of the game St. Ed's will be victorious for that reason. Even at the high school level I don't think Jrue can jkeep this up, and St. Eds has a few other options than Delvon on offense.
Fun game to watch though. Very impressive level of play.

anyone who checks this thread out, this game is awesome. I'd definately throw it on ESPN 2. Delvon Roe just facialized some 6"8 kid in a comeback attempt with Tom Izzo laughing on the sideline.
Great game.

Roe's dunk was pretty disgusting. The kid from St. Ed's that is going to IU is having a solid game.

nah, not on Jennings. I think you are thinking of the point guard who is going to Arizona. The dunk was on a sophmore with the last name Johnson I believe. The Johnson kid will be heavily recruited though, I think he has 16 points behind Holiday who is just carrying the Campbell team.
Fun game.

Holiday is an absolute stud, watching him dribble through the middle of the lane reminded me of Kobe, he has the ball on a string and that crossover is lightning.
Roe didn't look that great on the offensive end, he was being guarded by Holiday most of the game and had almost no success from the wing and some success from the post. He is a very good defender, but I was most impressed with his passing abilities. 5 or 6 times he hit a guy cutting or rolling for an easy layup, it was very good.
Pritchard looks like a solid PF, has a decent shot from the outside.

Campbell has a nice team. They just got outsized by St. Ed's. I also think that they got homered by the refs a little.
Holiday was very impressive.
I had never heard of Prichard before but a lot of his game against Campbell came just because he was much more physical than the Campbell players.

was at the game and I thought it was a great showcase to be played nationally so these kids could get some well deserved exposure.
