NY vs. New Jersey Game (Governors Bowl)

I'm watching a rerun of the game. The game is relatively boring. The first big play was a punt return by Nyan Boeteng(sp) for about 45 yards.

New Jersey snuff out a fake FG by NewYork.

87 yard TD run by a Toledo verbal Dajuane Collins for NJ

Fumbled punt return by Nyan Boeteng

The fumble was caused by Malcolm Jenkins!!!! Nice pick-up Buckeyes

Missed FG by Jersey. 7-0 Jersey . They showed the stadium and nobody is watching these guys. I'm glad Buckeye fans support their kids alot better than these guys do.

Nyan Boeteng dropped a sure TD. BTW The game was played at Rutgers.

Fake punt by the punter for NY for 30 yards.

Jenkins reportedly locked down his assignments all day long at CB, and I think he had a pick. Did you see anything else froM Malcom? (#2)

Boeteng burned Jenking but Jenkins deflected a pass in the end zone to Boeteng. Man these guys are battling. Jenkins is a heck of a player.

Fake FG by New York for a TD...it was a duck but it worked.

7-7 Halftime

Players that stood out in the first half

Mike Brown(Virginia)
Malcolm Jenkins(OSU)
Luqman Abdallah(Miami)
Nyan Boeteng(Florida)
Dajuane Collins(Toledo) hes gonna be great in the MAC
Dakota Walker(South Carolina)

The talent is good but not GREAT overall.

Man that collins kid is tearing it up 7-122 1 TD!!! Marcus Wilson IMO is not playing very well. He is either having a really bad day or he is very overated.

Malcolm Jenkins breaks up a long pass...very nice play he got his left hand in there.

Ray Rice(Milford Prep School) long TD run.

NY 14 NJ 7

They just interviewed Jenkins. He said "he has won 3 championships in H.S. and wants to win a couple at OSU" and "OSU is going into AA to take over."

He had a nice pop on the QB for NY on a QB draw.

NJ FG 14-10 NY

First time I have ever seen a FG attempt hit both goal post and still go through.

14-10 NY Final

Malcolm Jenkins played very well. He was locked up with Nyan Boeteng all day long. IMO Jenkins won the battle. He is very good but I'm not sure he is ready to compete with the DB's currently on our roster.

IMO if Jenkins would have played in an All-Star game with more talented players HE WOULD HAVE SHINED JUST AS MUCH. There is no doubt hes a stud but the competition in this game is not as good as the Ohio N/S GAME.
