Possible recruits you will see in 05

Who are some of the possible OSU recruits you will see in 2005?

Luckily, even though I'm in Georgia, I will see quite a few. Here is my list.

Antonio Henton-I can't wait to see him

Chris Slaughter-Ditto

(I will see both them for sure...they play Spalding HS, a school I cover and already have slated as a game I'm going to)

Carlos Brown-Heard Co. plays Pike County (who my newspaper covers occasionally)..There is a chance I see him if there isn't another bigger game that week.

D'Vontrey Richardson-I saw him play last year when Lee County played Thomas County Central (I'm no longer in SGA, but in Griffin outside of Atlanta). I may see him this year if Griffin HS and Lee play in the playoffs. Lee and Griffin's region's match up in the first round. There is a good possibility of that happening as Griffin is pretty much guaranteed a home playoff game, while Lee plays in a tougher region and could have to travel to Griffin in the first round. I guess D'Vontrey is a long shot for OSU, but he's worth seeing anyway.

Off topic, but you learn something new every day. Leesburg, D'Vontrey's hometown, is also the birth place of Marion Motley, the famous Canton McKinley and Cleveland Browns star. That's not bad for a one stop-light town.

I'll be watching Chris Wells, Devon Torrence, Mike Hartline, Palmer (GlenOak OL), and hopefully the Glenville boys will come close enough that I can see them play again as well.

The bucks need to get on some more illinois players, as I was/am looking forward to going out and taping footage of some of them for this site, but they don't seem to be interested in any but the almost gurentee's Illini QB

Mt. Carmel, the former home of Donavon McNabb and typically tough plays Morgon Park where the Bucks have at least some interest in a QB, a WR, and a O-Line member. This game will be played at Soldiers Feild (Bears) aug. 27th. Anone thing they could print me off or email me some peice of paper that could possibly work to get me a media pass? ha. Aside fomr that game though, I simply don't see anyone else worth catching a game of at least heading into the season, maybe soon some underclassmen will raise up the charts by mid-season.

Also their was a reciever from Boilingbrook who is a 3-star, he was a tall guy and a good student, BUT with Josh C. on board i doubt the staf much cares of him anymore.

as for me, i haven't even posted my film from last year on chris wells or the glenville kids. didn't have much time last year (or this year, or next year it seems), but i am planning on seeing some football this year somehow someway.

i don't think glenville is coming to the canton area this year bucknut11.

I'm going to try and get to see Walter Dublin here in Sarasota and if Terron Sanders somehow changes his verbal from Florida I can check him out too. It will all depend on my work schedule if I can get to the games or not.

Sadly, you're right. They should come down to Perry every year. That was close enough and Teddy put on such a show at that game.

Glenville 2005
8/26/2005 @ Mentor
9/3/2005 @ Cols. Brookhaven (for those of you in the Columbus area)
9/9/2005 @ Clev. Collinwood
9/16/2005 @ Clev. East Tech
9/24/2005 @ Warren Harding
9/30/2005 vs. Clev. East
10/7/2005 vs. Clev. South
10/14/2005 vs. Clev. Rhodes
10/21/2005 @ Clev. Lincoln West
10/28/2005 @ Clev. JFK

Maybe I'll make the trip to see them at Harding. That'd be quite a matchup.

Thanks. I never would have thought about Glenville playing in Cbus and might not have seen it til they were done and gone. I may check that one out.

i dont know how good the teams that glenville plays are, but it cant be easy to play 7 away games including 5 in a row and only 3 home games. how many schools does clev. have?
