Colerain missing the playoffs?
Colerain Cardinals
In the most recent OHSAA computer polls, Cincy Colerain is rated #9 in their region, despite being #3 in the AP poll. Only the top 8 in each region make the playoffs. 3 of the teams ahead of them have 2 losses. I know it's possible to jump up in the rankings based on several factors (strength of schedule, opponents' records), but the defending state champs may need some help just to make the playoffs.
Anyone know more about the computer points and if they look like they'll get in with two weeks left to play?

One thing I know is that you don't want to be in a big conference. Big conference means that half the teams in the league loose each week cutting down on the points you garner from a league win. That's one reason why Moeller, St. X, Elder and LaSalle get in each year and why Dayton and GMC (Colerain, Princeton, Lakota, Hamilton, Middletown)teams get screwed. |

im not worried. if they win out they will jump lakota east and at least get the #8 spot and have a rematch with X

Not to worry, Bucknut. Moeller will lose it's last 2 games to St Ed's and St. X. Colerain wins their last 2 and they're in, albeit close, but still in. If they win both , they should pass East and Lasalle, regardless of how those 2 finish.

I saw in the Cincy Enquirer if they win out they will be the #6 seed.

sounds pretty easy there. conner stood out quite a bit last year. he has great footwork and had quite afew pancakes vs mckinley at the state game. he gave the mckinley defenders fits because he wa sa really effective downfield blocker.
