I was kinda hoping for Canfield to lose last night(if they loss they would have dropped from the #2 seed) so Watterson could move up to the #2 seed from the #3 seed, the reason being is because in the first round of the playoffs the top 4 seeds get the home game, meaning if what i said would have happened my school/team(Columbus Beechcroft) would be playing relatively close to home down the road at watterson, instead we will be taking a three to a three and a half hour bus ride up to Canfield(basically near Youngstown).

I don't follow Watterson very closely, mostly just checking for the score on ONN or the occassional discussion with my father, who does follow them closely. So, forgive me if I get player's names/positions wrong.
Watterson finished 9-1, getting the #3 seed in the region and will face Marion-Franklin at 7:30 on November 4th. I assume at Hagley Field, but we all know what happens when people assume things.
The only loss came to a very unpredictable D-1 Kilbourne team. Kilbourne seemed to lose to a couple of mediocre teams early on in the season, but they absolutely dominated Watterson to the tune of 19-0. Kilbourne finished at 7-3 and took the #7 seed in their region.
Watterson is not unlike OSU in the gameplan. They play outstanding defense and special teams. They have had numerous defensive and special teams touchdowns ths year. The focus on offense is controlling the clock and moving the ball predominantly on the ground. If the opponent can't stop Watterson's ground game, it will be a long game for that opponent. This style of play does seem conducive to winning big games (See: Tressel, Jim ) so I would expect Watterson to have a respectable run into the playoffs. I don't know a thing about any of the other D-II teams in the region, so I couldn't tell you what to expect as far as whether BW should win the region.
A couple of key players that come to mind (in no particular order):
-Kris Luchsinger, DT/TE: outstanding DT, also an excellent rugby player, from what wadc45 says
-Jason Farrell, DB/ PR: has returned a couple of punts for td's this season
-Billy Griffin, QB:
-Mike Kundla, RB:
I know I'm forgetting a couple of important players, but I'm drawing a blank right now on names. Hope this helps with what you wanted to know!

To make the playoffs, the Eagles must win next week against one of the best teams in the state (or country for that matter) Cardinal Mooney.
If they make it, they will have earned it. Good luck, Eagles.
