Bishop Ready lost a hard-fought game on a muddy field to a very good Saltsburg Kiski football team, 21-13. The Knights were down 21-0 before they made a game of it in the 2nd half. The Knights fall to 7-2 on the year. Their last game will be at arch-rival Hartley.

Ready blew through the first part of their schedule, outscoring teams something like 200-20. They had a much harder 2nd half of the sched, with games vs Div IV #1 seeds Jonathan Alder and Lima Central Catholic (they split those), a game against a stong PA team Kiski (win) and the traditional rivalry game with Hartley. Their victory over over Hartley ended a 3 game losing streak to them and gave the Silver Knights the Gold Division of the CCL championship. The clinched the #1 seed in Div V Region 19.
Great job, Knights! |
