Coffman hasn't had this kind of concentration of football talent since 1994-5 when it was just Dublin High. I was told by a Dublin varsity coach (not from Coffman) that the Coffman coaches for basketball and football have started to recruit kids from the various middle schools in order to preempt the district's new policy which will disallow kids to transfer intra-district while in HS.
The Dublin school district is starting to feel like the NYC Catholic schools in terms of competing for talent.

There are so many solid players on this team. Those 5 get the publicity, but players like Chris O'Brien, Matt Ross, Scott Stucky, Kevin Hayes, Kevin Duroski, Ross Doan, Ben Semans , Alex Ottney, Keaton Sebastian have played a lot of football already and figure to be key seniors on this team.
Juniors Jarred Phillips and Voden will play a lot.
Coffman most likely will start 20 -21 seniors this fall and most of the key backups will be seniors also. |

I work with a couple of people on the team, so I hear a lot about them. According to them, this team is going to come down to Stoudt, who has all the hype, but lacks varsity starting experience, as well as the defensive line. I think Davidson's championship last year really has these guys fired up as well, not only because Davidson is their arch rival, but because it made them believe that an OCC team could contend with the big guys in Cincy and Clevelandl.
