That may change if they keep producing talent....and hopefully it does before the perception grows that tOSU won't give the TM players a chance.

TM will have 3 (B.Moore, R. Roundtree, M. Shaw) maybe 4 (Britt) going up north this year.
probably puts them in an improved position down the road for guys like Freeman etc..
I hope TM doesn't end up being TSUN's Glenville especially because it is a school from Ohio.

High school football: Trotwood-Madison coach suspended for recruiting attempts
Friday, July 18, 2008
A high school football coach has been suspended for trying to recruit players enrolled at other schools, the Ohio High School Athletic Association reported.
Trotwood-Madison coach Maurice Douglass, who played for the Chicago Bears and New York Giants and is a graduate of Independence High School, is prohibited from coaching in practices and games for weeks three, four and five of the regular season.
The penalties against the football program at the suburban Dayton school also include the dismissal of an assistant coach, and two senior students have been declared ineligible from participating in sports for one year at any school that is a member of the association.
The program also was placed on probation for two years.

Jeremy Beckham was the coach.
I haven't seen the players' names mentioned yet. The only hint so far was one poster on Yappi who stated that one of the players was not a starter and was a transfer from Meadowdale.

Trotwood flagged Douglass with prior reprimands
Football coach's personnel file shows incidents as far back as 2005; he must complete district program.

Trotwood-Madison High School football coach Maurice Douglass had been reprimanded by his bosses before any OHSAA investigation, according to documents obtained from his personnel file.
The issues include approaching a teacher about changing a grade for a student-athlete, letting non-registered students practice with the team and warnings of recruitment practices, plus minor issues like being tardy and improper use of sick leave.

Rams' assistant says he's a fall guy
Jeremy Beckham denies recruiting players from other schools, which violates OHSAA rules.

Former Trotwood-Madison assistant football coach Jeremy Beckham (right, talking to Rams quarterback Domonick Britt) said he never saw head coach Maurice Douglass do anything 'that I haven't seen any other coach on an other staff that I've ever been on do.' Beckham was dismissed for trying to recruit players, and Douglass was suspended three games.
While the Trotwood-Madison High School football team faces two years' probation and head coach Maurice Douglass gets a three-week ban, the heaviest price was paid by Rams offensive coordinator Jeremy Beckham in connection with an Ohio High School Athletic Association investigation.
Beckham, who also has coached locally at Northmont and Springfield South, was told Monday that he was terminated from Trotwood's staff.
"The biggest thing (wrong) is the way they worded (the news release), which is totally false," Beckham said. "The fact is something had to be done on the staff and somebody had to go, and I guess I got the short straw."
