Sorry, I don't mean to be argumentative. The ball broke the plane but his knee was down before he stretched the ball out for the goal line. That was the official call and the BCSN announcers called it the same way. Very close call though.
I thought that Palka could have played that differently. Run an option around the strong side and keep it or flip it to one of the running backs. This would have given Whitmer more options for a two point conversion. Whitmer played a great game against an equally great team. Everyone that saw the game knows that both teams played a great game. Central's QB and team played their hearts out. Whitmer's a great team and will do well in the playoffs. The game's over, let's both move onto the playoffs.
