MASSILLON The 117th edition of the McKinley-Massillon high school football rivalry is back on live television.
WHBC will televise the 2 p.m. Saturday kickoff on Time Warner Cable, Massillon Cable and WIVM.

WHAT TO WATCH Head coaches Ron Johnson of McKinley and Jason Hall of Massillon each get their first taste of one the nation's top high school rivalries. Both QBs - Kyle Ohradzansky of McKinley and Robert Partridge of Massillon - are getting their first start in the rivalry. Ohradzansky has thrown for 946 yards and nine TDs. Partridge became the starter in Week 7 against Brantford (Ontario) when Michael Clark moved to receiver. Partridge has thrown three TDs in his three starts, two last week against Mentor and one to Clark in the Brantford game. Partridge has seen action overall in seven games, throwing for 369 yards. Two veterans of the rivalry could play a big role ? McKinley RB Monterae Williams (944 yards, 13 TDs) and Massillon RB J.T. Turner (1,125 yards, nine TDs). Turner, a Michigan recruit, has 392 rushing yards the last two games. Turner also has returned two of his team-leading three interceptions for scores. In addition to having a team-best six TDs receiving, Bo Grunder also has returned three punts for scores. Safety Cooper Ivan and LB Spencer Leno lead the defense in tackles with 61 and 57 1/2, respectively.

CANTON Soon after Ron Johnson agreed to become McKinley High School's football coach, he sat down with a calendar and started counting.
Back on Feb. 25, there were 243 days before Johnson had the distinct honor and pressure of leading McKinley on the field against Massillon. Johnson knows because that is what he was counting between then and Saturday.
Every McKinley player received the same calendar with the number of days until they played Massillon. The countdown ends with a 2 p.m. kickoff Saturday at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium in the 117th meeting between the two programs.
