Not to be snarky, but "really want" in lieu of Hentges and Clark, or period?

Really want in addition to Clark. My understanding is we will see 2 TEs in this class. I wanted Hentges first and foremost but we know how that worked out. I've never liked OSU's chances with Clark but I am starting to come around. OSU may have a glimmer of hope there. If they can add Clark and bring in a kid like Moore as TE #2 that would be outstanding for two reasons. 1. I like Moore's film...great body control and ability to catch the ball away from his body and 2. He is a devastating blocker...so much so that if he continues to grow he might have the frame to make a Reid Fragel-esque move to tackle. I like that kind of possible versatility.

And yes, I'm sure that is the kiss of death.

Unless Moore tears apart FNL I would bag TE recruiting for 2015 and worry about Hausmann and Farrell for 2016. As I said before I could see him growing into a OT. Of course I also said I was coming around on Clark and OSU so what do I know...

The only problem though is talk about being thin at a position. In 2015 we'll have a senior in Vannett and a sophomore in Baugh. And imagine if Baugh were to do something to get kicked off the team after February. Maybe Hubbard's hand would be forced and he's a TE?

Yeah, I think we absolutely need a TE after not getting one in '14...maybe not two, but at least one. As @UpNorth_Buckeye said, it is certainly not unfathomable to see Baugh not available, leaving us with one TE before Haussman/Farrell get here. I hate to reach but I do not think Moore is a reach in the slightest. But even if not Moore, I think we need one TE in '15.

Three-star tight end Josh Moore cuts his list to six, Ohio State still alive in his recruitment: Buckeyes recruiting
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State missed on its top 2015 tight end target last week when Chris Clark of Avon (Conn.) Old Farms committed to Michigan.

The Buckeyes, however, have now made the most recent cut for Olathe (Kansas) North tight end Josh Moore, who narrowed his list down to six programs Thursday night.

Kansas, Oklahoma, Florida State, Auburn and Missouri join Ohio State on Moore's list.

Rated by Rivals.com a three-star prospect, the 6-foot-5, 250-pound Moore had 15 offers before narrowing his list, including ones from Iowa State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas Tech.

Moore has not yet visited Columbus, but he's expected to take an official visit to Ohio State before coming to a college decision.
