As I'm sure most of you are, I'm pretty damn anxious to get this [censored] off the ground. But alas...I'm stuck at work. The Michigan game will be up no later than 6:00 PM EST.
Someone asked if this could become a BP only thing. Here's my take on it: The torrents are being hosted on public tracker. Anyone who searches around for it will be able to download the games. However, torrents are only good if a lot of people are downloading/uploading/seeding. I think it's to our advantage that it stays public. I think keeping the links in the video section (which can only be accessed by BP members anyway) is the best balance between keeping it public and private. If you aren't a member, you have to know it exists, know how to get it, and know where to search for it. If you are a member, you just come to this thread.
When I get bored at work, I'll put up a how-to on ripping DVD's (the legal way, as in non-encrypted DVD's), as well as how to create and upload a torrent to the tracker.

I can only pray that there will be enough first seeders to get this bitch rollin.
I think we should get a count of how many BPers will be the first seeders. We should get them to commit also; Nobody wants to be the only 1st seeder.

I can't stress this enough: the file is huge (relatively, the straight dvd rip would be ~8.0 GB). This download will not finish in a few hours. It will take a couple of days! Just let it download and don't turn off your computer.

I see three peers and no seeds at the moment, I've got about 1.7 MB downloaded, at this rate it says it will be done in twelve days haha, I hope some more people jump in.

Now it's going good! It was real touch and go there for awhile but now it's showing a seed and 5 peers, I'm downloading and uploading at around 20 kB/s.... only five days to complete lol.

Well, I think my connection's running OK. Tried a file with 29 seeds and it ran quickly, got the green smilie that people can connect to me. I've got a fast connection, and I've set my upload max to unlimited, so hopefully this thing will speed up as more of us hit it.
Kinda mesmerizing, though. Find myself sitting here staring at the peer swarm readout.
Edit. I'm showing no seeds and 2 peers... shouldn't we see about the same numbers of these?
Figgered it out. I'm just not connected to them. Mebbe they've hit their max uploads. Isn't networking fun?
