As I'm sure most of you are, I'm pretty damn anxious to get this [censored] off the ground. But alas...I'm stuck at work. The Michigan game will be up no later than 6:00 PM EST.

Someone asked if this could become a BP only thing. Here's my take on it: The torrents are being hosted on public tracker. Anyone who searches around for it will be able to download the games. However, torrents are only good if a lot of people are downloading/uploading/seeding. I think it's to our advantage that it stays public. I think keeping the links in the video section (which can only be accessed by BP members anyway) is the best balance between keeping it public and private. If you aren't a member, you have to know it exists, know how to get it, and know where to search for it. If you are a member, you just come to this thread.

When I get bored at work, I'll put up a how-to on ripping DVD's (the legal way, as in non-encrypted DVD's), as well as how to create and upload a torrent to the tracker.

Now it's going good! It was real touch and go there for awhile but now it's showing a seed and 5 peers, I'm downloading and uploading at around 20 kB/s.... only five days to complete lol.

Well, I think my connection's running OK. Tried a file with 29 seeds and it ran quickly, got the green smilie that people can connect to me. I've got a fast connection, and I've set my upload max to unlimited, so hopefully this thing will speed up as more of us hit it.

Kinda mesmerizing, though. Find myself sitting here staring at the peer swarm readout.


Edit. I'm showing no seeds and 2 peers... shouldn't we see about the same numbers of these?

Figgered it out. I'm just not connected to them. Mebbe they've hit their max uploads. Isn't networking fun?

WTF, am I a retard because I can't get it to start downloading? It shows no peers or seeds.

Nevermind, it's going now. Averge peer progress is 14%. 0 seed/5 peers and 54kb/s. 10 hours left and shrinking by the second.

By the way, the ABC program that was recommended above is much better than Azureus.. It takes away virtually none of your computers resources.

Wow, it's only been about 5 minutes or so and I'm already down to 4 hours left. On the other hand though, I'm trying to get Star Wars Episode III and it say it'll take 13 weeks!

i'm connected to 4 peers w/ an ave of 12.4% and zero seeds...

right now i'm at 15.8% getting 12kB/s. it says 17 hrs left

Everything is going smoothly here. D/L @75-85 kb/s and U/L @ 35 Kb/s (I have it set to allow for much higher upload, but I'm guessing there just isn't that many people D/L right now or they are using dial-up).

Buckwrestler- I'll keep mine up and I'm sure there will be others that will do the same.

There should only be one seed (me, cause I'm the only one with the full file). I'm maxing out my upload at around ~45 kb/s. When I'm looking at the Peers tab in azureus it looks like I'm uploading a little bit to everyone. Once we get one more seed things will get markedly faster.

I finished the first half of the Alamo Bowl, and I'll do the second half before I sleep tonight.

Stick with it guys, the ETA's given on any of the bittorrent clients are whack 90% of the time. Just leave the computer on, and you might have it in the morning.

I never saw the swarm tab before. Pretty neat...

EDIT: And my cable just died their for a second. Hope I didn't lose anyone...
