Surely this doesn't compare to those who "manufactured" data that got us into this war and led to 3000 young Americans losing their lives and thousands crippled? Not to mention the $100 billion dollars lost.

Again, once you can prove that intel was manufactured or that there was any actual intent to deceive, we might be able to better address such concerns. Until then the rest of us would appreciate it if you'd appropriately discuss what was provided in this thread and quit the deflectionary BS. If you can't do that, then you have no need to post in this thread.
You see, the difference between such cases is that the intel used by Bush and company was believed to be true on a global scale, it just turned out to be inaccurate. This other instance apparently involves the story of a soldier that was fabricated from the beginning, and was never vetted. I trust you can see, and furthermore, understand the difference between such scenarios.
