Just curious, what are you a fan of? The lying? The bailing on his alma mater and team before the BCS game? The choking in big games? The crying on the sidelines? The hairplugs? The bad suits and ties?

The only time I would ever be scared of Rich Rodriguez is if he was offered a coaching contract by OSU. Thank God that will never happen.

BTW, it's really not a good idea to compare DickRod and Tressel, round these parts...

Maybe they'll be right, and OSU fans are naive idiots to not be wary of RR. But the constant mocking and derision of RR is very genuine, largely unanimous, and not masking any subliminal fear.

RR doesn't scare me. But did you guys know that his S&C coach is a scary guy named Barwis, who once owned a pet wolf and was an MMA fighter?

Me either. You need look no further than his record against teams that actually play defense to see that he benefited from coaching in a conference bereft of teams that actually fielded solid defensive teams. Not to mention the fact that his in game coaching is mediocre at best. If a team can come in and smack his offense in the mouth, he poops his pants and doesn't know what to do. The Big Ten is full of teams that will be able to do that fairly regularly. Just watch the last two USF games and last December's Pitt debacle. He was outcoached badly in those games. Outcoached by the Wannestache.

He'll make them a more interesting team to watch with his ping pong offense and he'll certainly win some games, but he's not going to take them to the next level. More 10-3 seasons (once he gets his players) peppered with an occasional 11-2 season. Sounds awfully familiar.

Are you serious? As I recall Coach Tressel has done the same things in the last two title games, choking that is. Let me ask have you ever quit a job, lied to your wife, or anything like that. I dont think you areo perfect there guy. If people were not scared of him then they would not continue to insult him and disrespect him like they are. What are you going to do when he beats Ohio State I suppose you will blame it on Tressel and company. I am sure you have problems of your own, so clean out your own back yard before you try to clean out his. Lord know if you were in his shoe you wold probably fold under the pressure. I am sure glad he is a bigger man then you or I will ever be.
