The BPRT is back with an early look at a 2009 ballhawk within the shadows of Ohio Stadium. Westerville Central Strong Safety Mike Giresi recorded 75 tackles (38 solo) over his Junior campaign and topped it with an invitation to the Army All-American Junior Combine. There is an early buzz about the hardnosed Junior...so the BPRT had to corner him for a quick round of The Straight Six...

BPRT: When you think of Ohio State football, what comes to mind?

MG: The Best Football Program in the country.

BPRT: What position would you prefer to play in college and why?

MG: I like to play on the Defensive side of the ball, anywhere is fine with me I just love to play.

BPRT: Your senior year will be coming up...what goals have you set personally and for your team?

MG: I want to be the best leader to the underclassmen that I can be and set school records in tackles. Also I would like to lead my team to the playoffs this season.

BPRT: When your career is over, how would you like people to remember Mike Giresi?

MG:

BPRT: If you were analyzing yourself on film, what would you list as your strengths and what needs some work?

MG: I believe I have a high Football IQ and I analyze things well. On the other hand, I am always working on my strength and speed.

BPRT: What are some of your favorite things to do away from football?

MG: I love weightlifting,basketball and hanging out with friends
