I figured Hawaii would be close to $3. I went on an Alaska cruise in 99 and I remember thinking how outrageous it was that they payed $1.60 a gallon.

Dayton: The outer islands are typically 30-50 cents a gallon higher, so the $3 barrier could be broken real soon...

I filled up on the way to little league yesterday @ $1.88, on the way back it was $2.08 at the same station (I had to laugh). It does though suck to go from "F" on the gauge to "really freaking F" to the tune of $13.50. [censored]ing bad mileage, gas guzzeling V8.

Did I mention that "I love my truck"

gregorylee--I recently switched from 4.0 V6 Ford Exploder to a V8 GMC Yukon, and amazingly enough, I am getting better gas mileage in the Yukon. Not that it matters, because the Yukon rocks and the Exploder sucks ass, so I would be happy either way.
