I'm more interested in the three ring circus that is the California criminal "justice" "system" than I am in the actual details of the case. It's a very Carlin-esque approach. Law enforcement in California is alot like the Cleveland Browns... they're always coming up with creative new ways to [censored] everything up, and therefore, it is very fun to watch.
The sheeple out there that have actually made an emotional investment in this thing (outside of family and friends, of course) only care about it because Laci was a young, attractive white female. If Laci Peterson were a West Virginian with three teeth and a she-mullet, her story wouldn't make it past a small-town weekly newsrag.

Ohio State versus M*ch*g*n trumps everything. It trumps your record. It trumps whether it's dangerous or you don't have a chance or any of those kinds of things. It trumps all things because it's the Ohio State-M*ch*g*n game. And I would like to think our guys understand that, but there's only one demonstration of understanding that and that's at 12:00 noon on Saturday.
