Protester sets fire to himself outside wrong building
A man who set fire to himself during a protest says he's disappointed he did it outside the wrong building.
The Romanian man survived and is in a stable condition in hospital.
He has vowed to be more careful about where he stages any future demonstrations against the Romanian authorities.
Mihai Barabula, from Piatra Neamt, was protesting at having to wait for financial support, reports the National newspaper.
He said: "I had business with the Town Hall, but I mistakenly did it in front of the County Hall. I will be more careful next time."
The 20-year-old has requested financial help from the Town Hall and has been put on a waiting list.
He is also to be admitted to a psychiatric unit for evaluation.
