I always thought the live version from the movie was more impressive, because the studio version is obviously dubbed in. The live performance required Page to use the double-neck, and I just am amazed at how seamless it is when he switches from the 12-string to the 6-string for the solo, then switches back to the 12 for the ending, all during the fastest and most difficult portion of the song. If you listen to the CD with no video, you would hardly know there was a switch at all.
