If no one minds, I'm taking charge of the golf outing. Time to get things going if we are going to make this happen on May 6th!
The Place: Clover Valley Golf Club - Johnstown, Ohio
The Day: Saturday May 6th
The Time: The afternoon - around
3 PM (so I can group 6 tee times together) -
tee times are set and confirmed
The Amount: $36 to ride - no food or beverages included. There
might be a discount, but I won't find out until I know there is interest in the outing. Still this golf course is worth every penny of that amount.
The Game: 2 man scramble, skins game, 2 mulligans may be purchased. Half of proceeds go to BP the other half to the winning team.
I am planning on reserving 6 tee times for this event! Please reserve a spot now and only do so if you are SERIOUSLY planning on attending! I don't want to have a lot of defection the week before the event at Clover Valley. If there is a lot more interest in the event, I'll consider actually holding an outing with food and beverage prices included.
I will call and make the reservations as soon as I see that there will be enough interest to hold the event. However,
please confirm by Sunday April 9th by midnight! If there is not enough interest by that time I will assume the event is dead and we can just call for tee times a week or two before hand.
I'm open to suggestions as to the games, the prizes, the amount people want to contribute to skins and mulligans, etc. However, the location is set, the day is set, and the time is set (Sat morning will be impossible to get 6 times together).
I will personally contribute golf lessons in either a raffle or to a winning (or losing team) at the Golf Center at Polaris.
