Take Your Child to Work

Did you take your kid to work today?

My company has a big thing for the kids today. I got a little mad though because they said the kids have to be 8-14 years of age. I didn't bring my son today because he is only 6. When I got here there was about 8 kids that were under 8.

Yeah, us teachers really love it.

I have a class of 10 right now that is usually 22 and my homeroom had half of the class absent.

It's an unexcused absence at our school.

If it's such a great thing, why not have "take your child to work" day in the summer time?

I think I started a thread about this last year, I should try to bump it if I can.

Yeah, my kids are all sitting in my den/office with me right now. [censored]ers don't even know how to make coffee.

when i was a kid "take you child to work day" meant i did all my dads bitch work for the previous and upcomming month in one day.

Put the kiddies to work. That way they can count it as an internship.
