Midas sucks....
I just got raped by Midas yesterday-my alternator conked out, and I have to get a new one put in, so I had my truck towed at 1:30 in the morning to Midas on Henderson. Unfortunately, being out of town, that was really the only option I had-and I am stuck paying $330 for a damn alternator-they would not let you go to AutoZone and buy one for $100. If I was at home, I could have had everything fixed by my regular mechanic in Dayton for about $200-parts and labor, w/ midas I had to pay $480-I hate car repair chains-always find an independent guy you can trust....

At some point the "brilliant" people at Midas realized the wide use of stainless steel in exhaust systems would be their ruin.
So, the best bet was to get into auto repair.
There is great variation in the way each store is run and the quality of the labor.
Your only alternative is to find a shop you can some what trust.
Obviously, if your out of your area, your S.O.L.  |

The one in Grove city isn't any better. I got screwed there on brakes a couple of years ago. $550 for rotors and pads is just a little bit out of line.  |
