Honda of America plans to build assemply plant in Hoosier state
Honda of America plans to build a automotive plant in Indiana. My hometown was in the running, Washington Court House & Van Wert, oh..io.. I have worked for honda suppliers for over 10 years and the main reason for this is Honda did not want to take from there Honda suppliers work force, which only 5% was allowed to leave and most of the percentage would of been from upper management.
If Honda would of choosen Washington C.H., oh..io.. this would of increased the economy around here.

Saw last night the 1,500 jobs are going to IN. Definitely bad news for OH, but it sounds like some engine work may be coming OH's way. At least the jobs are coming to the midwest.

There is a huge Honda plant in Marysville, OH. It's not really to far from Van Wert, which is my home area by the way. Depending on where it is in IN., many people from OH may benefit from working there. Quite a few people from near Van Wert work in Fr. Wayne, IN.

One of my relative's husband is a enginneer at the Honda plant. Not sure what exactly he enginneers in, but he's pretty high on the totem pole. He decided that he doesn't want to move to Indiana. Honda wanted to transfer him there. But he didn't want to be away from his grand kids.

Greensburg, IN is located right on I-74 approximately 55 miles west of Cincinnati. It'll be a great location for Honda's newest facility.
