we would always buy about $300 worth of fireworks and set them off when we lived up north... we don't do it anymore because Florida is dry and I don't want to burn my neighborhood down.

I love the Ohio laws. You can buy all the fireworks you want in Ohio. But you can't use them in Ohio. Also you have to be 18 to buy them here.
I remember about 4 years ago when I was in Montana during 4th of July. They are legal there. They had stands all over the place where you could just buy them. Also there was no age requirement.
My dad doesn't like me to touch them. He gets real freaked out.
