My A/C has stopped working...
The compressor and radiator are working just fine, but the fan turns veeeeeery slooooooowly. I am totally sweating my balls off, and the maintenence man at my apartment complex didn't make it in today. I am not gonna be able to sleep tonight, and it's gonna suck in a big way. How did people live without stuff like this before? Just thought I'd share.

And I would like to think our guys understand that, but there's only one demonstration of understanding that and that's at 12:00 noon on Saturday.

That truly sucks. Go to Walmart and buy a few fans to help you sleep

I was at a football camp w/ our team in Pennsylvania last week, and we stayed in the dorms w/out A/C, and I thought it would be horrible, but w/ a couple of fans it wasn't that bad. That said, my house is an oven w/out A/C.

We haven't run the air conditioner at my place this year, although tonight it may have to get busted out.

I absolutely LOVE the A/C. I can't stand the heat and humidity at all. If my A/C went down I'd be in hell until it was fixed. Fans help, but you're just moving hot air.
I hope you get it fixed soon, jlb.

My inlaws A/C died this weekend also.
Of course they live in New Orleans where it was in the 90's with 70-80% humidity. They came over to our house for the day.
The south would still be an uninhabitable swamp if not for A/C.
Just mowing my yard on a riding mower this weekend I was drenched.
