I don't think 84 consecutive saves is all about luck. Last blown save was August 26, 2002, an amazing feat analogous to DiMaggio's 56 game hit streak.

There may have been a little luck involved along the way but I think overall in the long wrong it was more ability then luck. Dodger fan here by the way so I guess I might be a little biased. Still a very impressive record that I think will stand for quite a while.
