College Football Hall of Fame
For those that have been there, what did you think of the place.
I went there in 2001 and had a great time. It was a great experience that really captured the history of the sport, at least in my opinion.

plan to go someday, some people I know went and didn't think it was worth the trip. I love the HOF in Canton so I definitely will check it out at some point.

we went a few years ago on a trip from Wisconsin to Cleveland. Nice place... I don't know if I would make a special trip to go there but worth a stop if your passing by. We didn't stay long as there's really not much there.

I've been to the old College football HoF, not while it was there, but it's right down the road from my house.
I'll never go to the HoF because it's in South Bend.

I miss the old HoF. Carl Linder treated it even more shabbily than he did the Reds.

Hall of Fame to honor Pickens
DALLAS (AP) -- Boone Pickens, the billionaire alumnus who has donated more than $400 million to Oklahoma State, will be honored in December at the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame's induction ceremony.
Pickens, who donated a record $165 million in 2005 to renovate the university's football stadium and create an athletic village, will be recognized for his philanthropy work with this year's Distinguished American Award at the Dec. 9 ceremony in New York.
Pickens' most recent gift was $100 million to endow professors' positions at the university.
Also, Ohio State's Gene Smith will receive the John L. Toner Award given annually to honor a top athletic director.

I'd like to go, but I'm not making a special trip. I'd like to see ND's campus too. Maybe I'll stop there when I go to Chicag | |
