Everyday Tasks With Your Dominant Hand
I was thinking about this the other day....
I am right handed. I write with my right hand, and in sports, my right hand is dominant, but when performing everyday tasks, I use my left hand....I shave my head and when I apply shaving cream, I cant do it with my RH, it feels completely awkward. The same with lotion, eating, buttoning shirts and pants, peeing, drinking, picking my nose and the biggest one of all, I cant masterbate with my right hand. I almost feel handicap.
What is everyone else's take on this. Are the rest of you like this?
I figured it is slow until January, so what the hell.

I don't know, I've noticed more of a dominant arm when I preform tasks rather than a dominant hand. I think it depends on what I'm doing but my right shoulder/bicep is stronger than my left (leaving me to throw baseballs/footballs with my right arm), but my left forearm is stronger than my right one (throwing frisbees/arm wrestling), and then again my right wrist/hand is stronger than my left hand (writing.... etc).
In the end, I think I'm just pretty ambidextrous.

Used to have that problem. Here is how I solved it:
I started by telling my right hand it was my favorite hand. How I didn't really care for my left hand and was just using it to get what I wanted.
Next I bought it one of those fancy driving gloves - the kind with no fingers. This particular one laced up in the palm.
Then I let my right hand hold a drink for a while - a really strong drink.
Finally, after a couple of promises to let it know in advance so it could release its grip at the last moment - I had my way.
Awkward at first, but I will never go back to my left. |

I am left-handed. I do all things sports related with my right. I eat, drink, brush the teeth, shave and write with my left and that is it. Everything else I use my right-hand. Very odd.
