So would you guys say that you follow everything that's posted in this message from Clarity?
First and foremost, BP is about the users -- about the community. Common sense and reason apply here. We don't have a hard and fast set of rules, and that's because people really don't need to be told that spamming, trolling and flaming aren't appropriate, nor are personal attacks on players, coaches, recruits, other posters, etc. Community standards apply, and I've made a point to try to make available a proper place for almost anything you want to say. The only 'rule' I'd suggest here is more of a theme. Be respectful to others, even if you disagree with them. Don't say anything about a player, recruit or coach that you wouldn't say to them directly. Because you never know, they may well end up reading it.
BP was brought together because a number of us from other OSU fan sites felt that there was plenty of room for another site and forum with a different approach. We're not cheerleaders here, we're fans. But we're responsible and tactful fans. We can discuss positives and negatives without it getting personal or out of hand, and I always want it to be that way. I want this site to be a place where a recruit will feel comfortable to not only read what's being said about him, but also be able to participate directly in a friendly and open environment. Where current and former OSU players can read or take part in discussions (openly or not), and not come away feeling unappreciated or disrespected. That's not the case elsewhere, and it's one of our biggest interests here. Passionate fans discussing our common interest (obsession?), and doing so objectively and responsibly. We're not going to be flawless on that always, no one ever can. But that's the theme, and so far it's been a terrific success.

Are you lonely or something, outsane? Need some company over there?
We get it. Your board staged a marvelous plan to spam this board, but didn't bother to think up anything remotely witty to say. Then there was your smoking (cap) gun, referencing an ancient post of Clarities as if it somehow overruled the moderators and rules he still oversees today.
