I concur. Based on a scanning of THIS and THIS; a Squadron of Dragons makes a certain amount of sense, intuitively speaking.

The second of the above links has an entry for Dinosaurs, which seems the closest thing to dragons. The entry didn't really evoke a decent image for dragons though ('herd' for plant eaters, 'pack' for meat eaters). And as the other link has an entry for Unicorns (Blessing), it seems mythical creatures are fair game for having groups named.

So let it be written, so let it be done. BuckeyeSoldier has proclaimed that henceforth a group of dragons shall be called a squadron.
