Sorry to hear that Gator.

My appendix burst during my appendectomy nearly 2 years ago. Apparently it just fell apart as soon as they touched it to remove it from me. Even with them getting most of it out at the time, I was stuck in the hospital another week fighting infections, and was limited in my activities when I got home. It certainly makes for a lousy time, and can't be a fun way to spend a youthful summer.

I'll keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

Gatorubet, I am very sorry to hear about this. I agree, they are lucky you did not sue. An intern should know to take a WBC. May I suggest that you reserve your rights? This kind of thing can linger for years. Please don't rule anything out.
