but I live a little too far south of the Stadium to have actually witnessed it myself.

The Buckeyes depart the Hilton at 10:20 a.m. (CT) this morning for practice. They were originally scheduled to practice at Tulane University in New Orleans, but because of the cold temperatures and wind, the team will dress at Tulane but then bus to the New Orleans Saints indoor practice facility.

transitional cold [as you describe here] always feels colder than cold cold [say teens]. until you start having to qualify the temperature with a +/- [like when you say, oh its 3 out, well is that 3 or -3], then its cold.

They were saying it was cold because either it was colder than they expected, or because they were Buckeye, NoD, or Illini fans that lived in warmer climates. No [censored]ing way someone from Indiana, Illinois, or Ohio think that 30+ degrees is cold enough to bitch about.

i would think Tressel and the OSU players have spent enough time in cold climates to be able to practice in cold weather.

don't know why they were scheduled to practice outside anyway.
seems they would WANT to practice indoors on at least similar turf to what the Superdome has.

Saints indoor practice facility (which is where they relocated anyway).
Just seems like if that field was available, why not practice there?

Climate controlled (just like the Superdome).

Same field turf, and supposedly the field has an identical curvature to the Dome.
