That's all the coke that Jeff Smoker was doing at Michigan State circa 2004-2005 or so

oh yeah! i heard about that stuff. Death Valley got a healthy dose of it that day. but I live a little too far south of the Stadium to have actually witnessed it myself. although one time back in '89(ish) we had about an inch or so that stayed on the ground for about a day. |

have you ever spent a summer down in the Louisiana Swamps?
the heat, humidity, and mosquitoes are not for the faint of heart. and while the thermometer rarely drops below mid-high 30's (and snow is almost a mythical element), the wind, rain, and that dam humidity makes it feel a good deal colder. Illinois, Notre Dame, and OSU players and fans have all commented on how cold it was in New Orleans for the Sugar Bowl. Even though the actual temps hovered right around 40, maybe a little below. |

it was cold enough for Tressel to change their practice location

They were saying it was cold because either it was colder than they expected, or because they were Buckeye, NoD, or Illini fans that lived in warmer climates. No [censored]ing way someone from Indiana, Illinois, or Ohio think that 30+ degrees is cold enough to bitch about.
And to answer the thread title... If it were snowing right now, I'd say..."[censored]in' Perfect" |

i would think Tressel and the OSU players have spent enough time in cold climates to be able to practice in cold weather. don't know why they were scheduled to practice outside anyway. seems they would WANT to practice indoors on at least similar turf to what the Superdome has. back on topic. we're back in the mid-high 70's |

Saints indoor practice facility (which is where they relocated anyway).
Just seems like if that field was available, why not practice there? Climate controlled (just like the Superdome). Same field turf, and supposedly the field has an identical curvature to the Dome. Quote:
