Who backs up Lendale White right now? Do they suck? I'm reasonably sure there are other RB's on the roster that know the offense and aren't planning to spend the remainder of their college careers on scout team. Will Pete just tell them to transfer if Gwaltney commits?

Per this weeks print edition of BSB - "All of the head coaches have already made their in-home visits with Gwaltney, save for USC head coach Pete Carroll."
The article also makes reference to his desire to join his new team by July 1st so he can "learn the offense and get in the weight room". Unfortunatley, that lines up with Sanchez's comments. |

Wstripes, I am inferring from your post that he is telling USC that he is coming and that he just wants to do it on ESPN. That does not bode well for us since your sources seem to be spot on. So either he is telling both schools what they want to hear and OSU still has a shot or he is stringing OSU coaches along and already has made up his mind for USC. If it is the second then I am not too thrilled about the way he is handling this and tells something about his character. Then again I am a nobody buckaholic on a website, so what I think doesn't mean squat |
