Thanks Steve and Mili. Michigan will no doubt bring their A game, but there will be a considerable buzz about this game on campus which should lead to a decent home field advantage. I expect us to come out firing next weekend. Hopefully the weather will cooperate, because I know our guys would like to be back at Beekman Park after having to play on the turf this past weekend.

College Rankings: Penn State & Ohio State big movers
By Brian Lowe
Penn State and Ohio State are the big movers in the latest TravelCorp College Top 20 rankings.
The Nittany Lions have been on a tear this season and have shot up into the #2 slot behind national champions Cal, while the Buckeyes too have been on a roll since their season-opening loss to PSU and are up to #4, their highest placing yet.
Another team on the way up is Tennessee, which seems to have adopted the mantle of quiet achiever, while Clemson has broken into the Top 10 despite their defeat by Penn State, the only blemish so far on the Tigers’ blotter.
Teams that have been heading in the other direction include 2005 national championship finalists Utah, although one would think that come the spring that will change as the Utes have been experimenting with a lot of different combinations. Air Force and BYU have also slipped down the order, but for the most part everyone else has remained pretty much as they were apart from Purdue, which has dropped out of the Top 20 altogether. Their place has been taken by Truman State, which is now ranked for the very first time.
So, after the first six weeks or so of the fall season, here is the latest TravelCorp College Top 20.
1 [1] California (idle)
2 [5] Penn State (7-1)
3 [2] Army (5-0)
4 [8] Ohio State (4-1)
5 [3] Navy (3-1)
6 [7] Tennessee (6-0)
7 [4] Utah (3-2)
8 [6] Air Force (2-1)
9 [9] Dartmouth (4-2)
10 [11] Clemson (6-1)
11 [12] Colorado (4-0)
12 [10] BYU (2-1)
13 [13] St Mary’s (idle)
14 [14] UC Santa Barbara (idle)
15 [15] Oklahoma (3-2)
16 [16] Wyoming (2-1)
17 [17] UCLA (idle)
18 [18] Texas A&M (idle)
19 [19] Sacramento State (idle)
20 [unranked] Truman State (5-1)

Midwest College playoff brackets set
By Brian Lowe
The Midwest men’s collegiate playoff brackets are set with Ohio State, Michigan, Bowling Green, Purdue, Indiana, Illinois State, Minnesota and Northern Iowa all advancing from pool play to the quarter-finals.
The Buckeyes posted their fifth straight W by downing the University of Northern Carolina 41-20 at the weekend, while Illinois State managed to qualify by dropping Wisconsin by the tune of 44-20.
One side of the bracket will see Indiana taking on Illinois State and OSU playing Michigan, while on the other side, Bowling Green will face Purdue and Northern Iowa will square off against Minnesota.
The four winners from this coming weekend’s action will advance to the Midwest Finals in Columbus, OH, the following weekend.

congrats on the win... underperforming this week might be a stronger wakeup call, who knows. Either way, I bet they'll be pumped for this weekend. I am looking forward to taking in the action.
