2005 Ohio State Rugby
Since I post so much on here, you are all going to have to suffer one small thread about this team. I am going to use one thread to post schedules, scores, match reports, etc. I am starting with the upcoming Spring season which includes the sweet 16 in Colorado Springs in April. This team appreciates any and all support it gets, and I know I can count on the folks at BP.

Also, as I understand it from wadc, tOSU will be entering two teams in the Ohio Rugby Classic Tournament in Columbus April 23/24. Yes, that is the weekend of the spring game. I am coming up for the tailgate and game and to hopefully play some rugby on that Sunday. BPers and other Buckeyes in the area should come out and support tOSU Rugby. Come see the Buckeyes play the game they play in heaven.

The OSU A side defeated the Indy Men's team 16-5. The OSU B side lost to the Dayton A side 17-3. By all accounts, neither game was pretty to watch. But a victory for the A's against a decent men's team is always welcomed. While also studying for finals this week, the team will have a short week of practice before departing for California on Thursday for a mini-tour while on spring break. The next home game is April 2nd against TSUN. Contrary to recent results, this game against Michigan actually figures to be competitive. More to follow...

David Fee...wing for the USA Eagles (the national team) and captain of the USA 7s team...these are a couple of pics from Rugby Magazine of the recently completed 2005 USA 7s Tournament. David has been helping out coaching the OSU backs when he is in town.
