Looked to me like last years team playing last night. The hard work that has been so successful this year wasn't evident last night.
That and Chicago would have killed an old lady to get a win last night. They were playing balls out.

You didn't miss much. Chicago carried the play with the notable exception of about a 3 minute span to open the third. By far the worst Columbus has looked this season.
Chicago really has a couple really good young ones in Toews and Kane.

I wasn't making excuses.
I'm saying they could have still won the game had they been able to play the entire 3rd period like they started it.....
It was a different team last night from the other nights however.
Hell I don't care, the Wings are 12-2-1 or something crazy like that

Sorry I am suspicious of any team with Robert Lang playing a prominent role within it.....
He's gotta be the least aggressive German I've ever seen....

Jackets notebook: Hot Wings add toughness to talent
Friday, November 9, 2007 3:35 AM
By Tom Reed
The Columbus Dispatch
DETROIT -- Barry Trotz says anyone who thinks the book on the Detroit Red Wings is to physically intimidate them is reading an outdated copy.
The Nashville Predators coach said the Red Wings, riding an eight-game winning streak heading into a game tonight against the Blue Jackets, have evolved into a tougher, more resilient bunch.
