Dallas takes a steady dose of St Louis Blues balls to the chin, losing 2-5 with about 5 minutes to go. Don't see them salvaing a point out of this one.

It'd be cool to see the Jackets get that 5 spot and play Chicago in the playoffs, but VAN has 2 points and 2 more games to play over Columbus.

we have quite a few games left against chicago...with the way Mason is playing, I wouldn't put it past this team to catch Chicago. Tough schedule left. 10 of the 15 games are against playoff teams. But the Jackets obviously step up when the competition is better...so maybe this will be good.

its hockey guys dont like to do stuff like that. they like to talk about getting pucks deep and traffic infront of the net. then if they make the worlds greatest play (see nash gw vs phx) they say it was the great pass of their teammate that set it up (granted he fleeced two guys stickhandling in a phone booth and sprawled the netminder to do it).
