If a firesale means getting rid of placeholders and getting some new blood in, I'm all for it.
That said, I hope, for Blue Jackets fans sake, they don't go at it like the Florida Marlins do.

It must be the 3rd period, because the Blue Jackets have scored twice to close the game from 3-0 to 3-2.....
Zherdev from Svitov and Brule from Fedorov (I think it hasn't been announced yet) and the goals came within 3 minutes of each other....
