Ohio State 7 michigan 5 tonight. First win for the Puck Bucks in a^2 since 1999.

You never really know what to expect from this team... (article not up yet).

It was an ugly game on both sides. Michigan outshot the Buck's, but terrible play between the pipes from Billy Sauer was very costly for Michigan. I'd say that at least 2 of the Ohio State goals were cheapies that should have been kept out of the net.

I will admit that I was surprised at the heart shown by this Buckeye team. It would have been easy for OSU to roll over and die after blowing a 1-0 lead and trailing 2-1, 3-2, and 4-3.

Game two of the series will be tomorrow night.

too bad there's no mention of this on the BP front page - could really gather some 'steam'/backing for the puckBucks - they could use it/us!

Michigan won game two 3-2, scoring two goals in the third period.

He's been up and down. He was paired with Matt Hunwick for most of the year and by the middle of the season it was a pretty bad line. I thinkt they both are just too offensive to play together and gave too much space.

It was split up for the first time in the second game of the Ohio State series and I thought he played much better. He's also scored goals in our last two games. I'd say he's the best offensive defenseman that I've seen in college hockey. If he can become better at picking his spots for when to rush then he could be unreal.
